Nablus University for Vocational and Technical Education / Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in collaboration with the GPC is seeking for a Project Manager to lead Project implementation entitled "relocation and expansion of the Ibn Sina College for Health Professions" with the support of French Development Agency (AFD), for a preliminary period of six months (potentially renewable)
  Project Manager  

According to the following qualifications and conditions:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Architecture Engineering from an accredited university.
  2. Minimum five years of relevant work experience with international developmental projects.
  3. Experience in construction standards in Palestine is required.
  4. Strong writing and reporting skills.
  5. Excellent spoken and written English language skills, ability to write clearly and concisely about complex issues.
  6. Professional attitude, good social skills, communication and ability to work in a team.
  7. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint…...)

Proposed Duties and Tasks:

  1. Follow up and facilitate the finalization of the project feasibility study.
  2. Follow up with project relevant stakeholders (ministries, NGOs, etc.).
  3. Prepare and follow up the instructions of the needed pre-requested permissions and certifications.
  4. Ensuring good and systematic communication with relevant local authorities and project stakeholders.
  5. Ensuring compliance with and respecting the code of conduct, policies, and regulations of AFD and EU.
  6. Performing external communications with   external stakeholders related to the project.
  7. Develop a detailed implementation plan for the project.
  8. Ensuring the timely and quality delivery of planned project activities.
  9. Collect and filling all of the project documents/studies / publications, etc.
  10. Organize and managing meetings/ visits/ interviews/ events/ workshops where is needed.
  11. Prepare and propose the needed clarification and inquiries from the donor.
  12. Coordinate and follow up with the consultancy firm activities.
  13. Whenever appropriate, share relevant information/updates with staff in order to strengthen coordination.

The date for receiving applications starts from Monday 22/11/2021 until Thursday 02/12/2021
